6^th Annual Chistkindl Markt

This three-day event kicks off with the popular Holiday Lighting Ceremony on November 28th at North School Park. After the park is illuminated, thousands of people begin their holiday season by walking through the Christkindl Markt tent. Here you will discover wonderful, local hand-crafted gifts for everyone to enjoy. There will be Soaps, Candles, Wood Carvings, Cheeses, and Toys for the kids.

Christkindl of Arlington Heights offers Authentic German foods to tempt your taste buds. German and domestic beers, Spiced Cider, and Hot Chocolate will be available to whet your whistle. German Sweets, Kettle Corn, and Snacks will blow your mind. While you eat, sit and enjoy the fun, upbeat German music and dancers on center stage.

This is not one of my largest events but surely one of the best! If you have a family or group of friends, you must come out for this one. I don't care if you live in the city. It's so worth the 45-minute drive. Get all your holiday shopping done in one spot and enjoy an old-fashioned German Fest. The atmosphere is jolly and sweet with children dazzled and parents shopping for loved ones. The Village of Arlington Heights really knows how to bring in the sprit of the holidays. Raw Candles will be offering New Fragrances, Limited Edition candles, and Fabulous Specials throughout this joyous weekend.
