Chicago Pride Fest

It's all about GLBT pride at Chicago Pride Fest on Saturday, June 28, the day before Chicago's iconic Pride Parade (Sunday, June 27). Festive ... Jubilant ... Fun ... are just a few of the words to describe this day-long gathering that's a non-stop, early-summer party.

Hosted by (and benefiting) the Northalsted Area Merchants Association -- the same group behind the wildly popular Northalsted Market Days (set for the weekend of August 9-10) -- this equally crowd-pleasing gay and lesbian celebration of community pride will be back bigger than ever in its 6th year!

Pride Fest showcases an eclectic lineup of arts & crafts, food and other vendors. It also features entertainment on two stages including one dedicated to some of Chicago's fine performers in the gay community.

How To Get There

Limited street parking may be available on surrounding streets. Public transportation is encouraged as the best way to get to the festival. The CTA Red Line "L" (Belmont, Addison stops) or Brown Line "L" (Belmont) are conveniently located just a few blocks from the festival.

Kevin's Comments

Raw Candles has been a part of Pride Days for 3 years. The people watching is great, beer is cold, and there are many unique items to buy. It is not uncommon to see people dancing in the streets or posing for pictures. Everyone is welcome to this awesome outdoor party!
