28^th Annual Lambs Farm Show - Stephens Convention Center

Mark your calendar for December 4-7, 2008. The Lambs Farm Holiday Extravaganza is in its 28th year and is located at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. The show features 400 booths of exquisite arts, crafts, holiday decorations, and other items to fill your home decor and gift-giving needs.

The Lambs Farm Show was one of the first of its kind. It began in 1982 at Arlington Racecourse as a way to bring a large number of artists and craftspeople together with a large contingent of enthusiasts and shoppers. In 1985 the show shifted to the O'Hare Expo Center (now the Stephens Convention Center) and has been there ever since.

Founded in 1961, Lambs Farm is a premier non-profit organization, serving adults with developmental disabilities. Lambs Farm has grown from a small pet shop in Chicago to a 72-acre campus located in Libertyville, Illinois where opportunity flourishes for the more than 250 men and women served.

Those with developmental disabilities served by Lambs Farm are provided the opportunity to advance in all areas of life through ever-increasing residential, vocational and recreational choices. Community partnerships allow them to experience a broader variety of activities. Activities focus on the enrichment of the people of Lambs Farm - building their determination to lead full, satisfying lives. They gain independence by having the freedom to be as self-governing as possible and they accomplish all this with dignity, taking pride in all that they do.

This is the final holiday show of the year for Raw Candles, and we really rock the house at this event!!! As you know, we try to offer something new and exciting each year. AP Events has been focusing on more specialized hand crafted items this year, weeding out resale, overseas, and machine made products. Show your support not only for your favorite candle guy but the many wonderful people involved with Lambs Farm. It is important to me to give back to communities in need.
